Rose Violet Blue

What you see is the center of the painting Rose Violet Blue, in progress (begun in early June). Depending on the movement of lines and colors I will either begin a painting at its center and work outward, or begin a painting along an edge and work vertically or horizontally.

The impetus for a painting (color and line) will follow to completion. Placement of each palette-triangle is a decision that is made spontaneously, but in reaction or response to adjoining color(s) and line(s).
