Composition in Yellow (working title)

Composition in Yellow (working title) is now about 1/4 completed. Because there are many loose palette pieces, it is necessary to work on a flat surface. This painting is in two parts fitting vertically, though I work the painting as if it were one panel. In addition, the verticle line made by the meeting of the two panels provides a subtle upright element.
